Leonard Silke has been in practise in Galway as a Solicitor since 1972. A native of Galway City, he first practised in Athenry, Co. Galway before establishing the firm Silke and Company on 4th November 1974. He lectured on Administrative Law at Galway Regional Technical College (now G.M.I.T.) for some years. He also lectured in Criminal Law and Company Law at U.C.G. (now N.U.I.G.) for sixteen years and was Vice Chairman of the U.C.G. Law Graduates Association for several years. He was President of the County Galway Solicitors Association for three years. Between 1989 and 1999 Leonard was Editor of the Western Law Gazette (Dli) and has been involved in many leading Irish cases - many reported in the Irish Reports as cases of significance for Irish law.

Therese Donohoe Originally from Co. Kilkenny, obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law Degree from UCD and qualified as a Solicitor in 1992. Prior to joining Silke and Company she worked for a number of years in
Dublin and also in Ballinrobe and Ballinasloe. She has gained extensive experience in general practice to include Purchase and Sale of Property, Mortgages, District Court work, Family Law, Wills, Probate, Landlord and Tenant, Employment Law and Debt Collection.
